When you attend for a dental check up, we will check all your teeth, gums and jaw, for signs of decay and deterioration. During the checkup we may also complete x-rays (when appropriate) and discuss your dental hygiene habits.
If you have existing fillings, crowns bridges and implants, we will check them to ensure they are still functional and that there is no breakdown or decay. Tooth decay untreated, not only spreads within the tooth that has a cavity, but can potentially spread to other teeth in your mouth.
